About Jason Hartwick
Jason is the owner of Steelhead on the Spey Guide Service. Born and raised in Sacramento, CA and attended the University of Texas on a golf scholarship and pursued professional golf for four years after school. While he grew up playing golf and trying to make a career out of it, he spent most of his youth trout and steelhead fishing the rivers of California’s Central Valley.Jason loves fishing the Trinity River watershed in Summer, Fall, and Winter. He spends most of his time steelheading and is still excited daily about the Spey Rod. He loves teaching, and guiding while carrying his camera.
